The Bicentennial Stage is made possible by the Peyton Anderson Foundation to feature local acts to honor Macon’s Bicentennial Celebration.
Kelley Dixson has been a musician for as long as she can remember. After earning her Bachelors in both Music Education and Flute performance, she went on to expand her career to include playing for pit orchestras for Theatre Macon, performing with several orchestras, and learning trumpet and saxophone. Her music career took another turn when she moved to New Orleans in 2013. Kelley fell in love with singing and was featured in several bands as well as a lead for a Motown band and a Cabaret show. After the birth of her daughter, she relocated back to Georgia where she learned ukulele and piano and turned her eye back to her first love of music and education and she is now writing songs for kids, teaching, and spreading her love for music through performance!
