  • What are the hours for events at Carolyn Crayton Park?
    The hours at CCP during the Festival are:
    • Fridays: 12pm-10pm
    • Saturdays: 10am-10pm
    • Sundays: 12pm-9pm
    • Monday-Thursday: 12pm-9pm
    Please note there is no admission or re-admission 1 hour prior to closing.
  • How much is admission to Carolyn Crayton Park?
    Admission to Carolyn Crayton Park is $10 per day for all visitors 11 years of age and older. Children who are 10 and younger get in FREE. There are no presale tickets for admission.

    There are two entrances for Carolyn Crayton Park: directly in front of The Round Building or at Willie Smokie Glover Road (toward 7th Street).

    🌸 Accessible parking is located inside Carolyn Crayton Park. Please enter the Festival at Willie Smokie Glover Drive and turn into the United Building parking lot on your right. You will see signs designated for accessible parking spaces.

  • Where can I purchase arm bands for amusement rides?
    You may purchase arm bands for amusement rides at Carolyn Crayton Park, inside the gates near where Drew Expositions has set up. On Saturdays, arm bands must be purchased by 3pm.
    Arm Band Fees:
    • Monday-Friday: $20 for unlimited rides
    • Saturday-Sunday: $25 for unlimited rides

  • Can I leave and re-enter Carolyn Crayton Park?

    “There is NO re-entry into the park once you have left. If you want to re-enter you will be required to pay for admission again.

    Please note there is no admission or re-admission 30 minutes prior to closing.”

  • Will there be balloon rides at the Festival Finale?
    Yes! Tethered balloon rides are $10 per person and will take place so long as the weather permits. Please note the balloon will remain tethered and will not take off. This is available every night at the Festival this year from 5 – 8 pm, weather permitting.
    As a reminder: This year, the event formerly known as ‘Tunes & Balloons’ has been replaced with the Festival Finale and it is located at Carolyn Crayton Park. There will be no events happening at Middle Georgia State University (MGSU) as part of the Cherry Blossom Festival this year.
  • Can I bring my own food and drink?
    Outside food and drinks are NOT allowed in Carolyn Crayton Park. We will have fantastic vendors selling beverages, snacks and food! Please also note that coolers are prohibited from the Park.
  • Is the Festival at Carolyn Crayton Park ADA accessible?
    While the Park itself follows ADA guidelines, the activities are primarily located within the grassy areas of the grounds. Weather conditions and limited sidewalk access to festivities, could impact the accessibility for some. We encourage visitors who may have a disability, require a wheelchair, or other mobility needs to explore the site ahead of time and make the decision that’s best for them.

  • Where can I find parking at the Cherry Blossom Festival?

    Free parking is available in downtown Macon during the Festival. Parking garages, church parking lots, FPD, and St. Josephs will be available for public parking after work hours and on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Policies
  • What forms of payment are accepted?
    Both cash and card will be accepted for admission into the Festival.
  • What kind of bags do you allow in the Park?

    The Cherry Blossom Festival operates on a strict clear bag policy, meaning that all guests must carry their belongings in an approved clear bag. If you arrive to Carolyn Crayton Park without a clear bag, you will be asked to return the bag to your car.

    With the exception of medically necessary bags and diaper bags, guests are only allowed to carry a clear bag.

    Approved clear bags EXCLUDE: tinted plastic, printed pattern plastic, or mesh bags. Any bags left outside the gates within our footprint will be disposed of for security reasons. Also for security purposes, you are subject to search at any time.

    Medical Bags: If you are a guest visiting CCP and need to carry a bag required for medical supplies or devices, the bag will be permitted. The medical supplies/devices bag will be searched and tagged by security at the admission gates. The tag must remain on the bag while in the park.

    Diaper Bags: Parents and guardians with a baby or toddler present at admissions will be permitted to enter with a diaper bag. The diaper bag will be searched and tagged by security at the admission gates. The tag must remain on the bag while in the park.

     

     

  • Can I buy a clear bag at the Festival?
    Approved clear bags will be available for purchase ($10) at The Festival Gift Shop inside the Round Building at Carolyn Crayton Park. You can also purchase them from Visit Macon or from Apparel Authority at Food Truck Frenzy.
  • Are pets allowed at the Festival?
    Only service animals will be permitted to enter the Festival at Carolyn Crayton Park. Dogs and other pets are NOT allowed the Park or the Festival Finale. Events held in Downtown Macon are generally pet friendly.
  • Can I bring my own food and drink?

  • Are strollers permitted at the Festival and at Carolyn Crayton Park?
    Yes, the Festival is a family friendly event and strollers are welcome.
    Please note that parents and guardians with a baby or toddler present at admissions will be permitted to enter with a stroller. All strollers will be searched and tagged by security at the admission gates. The tag must remain on the stroller while inside the park.
  • Can I bring my own chairs into the Park?
    Yes! Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for attending the Nightly Concert Series and Festival Finale. The Park offers a very limited amount of chairs on a first-come, first-serve basis. We highly recommend you bring your own chair. Please note lawn chairs are subject to search at the entrance.
    Coolers and outside food are NOT permitted. There will be a plethora of food and beverage vendors on site.

  • Is there a clothing policy?
    Shoes and shirts are required at all times during the entire Festival. We reserve the right to refuse admission for any offensive or inappropriate clothing. No ski masks or full face coverings will be permitted.
  • Can I bring my drone to capture footage of the event?
    We do not permit drones or flying devices of any kind thare are not affiliated with the producers of the Cherry Blossom Festival.
  • Will refunds be issued for cancellations or inclement weather?

    There will be no refunds for weather, cancellations, or otherwise. If there is an emergency, we will be sure to update our social media pages to keep you informed.

  • What’s the age for attending without a parent / guardian?

    Visitors must be at least 16 years of age to enter all Festival events without a parent or guardian.

  • Does the Festival provide strollers and/or wheelchairs for rent?
    Unfortunately, we are unable to provide strollers or wheelchairs for rent. We ask that you please plan ahead if you need accommodations.
