The Lotus Band is a combo that specializes in upbeat, R&B, blues, jazz, neo-soul and inspirational music. With a wide range of selections by such artists as Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Jill Scott, Maxwell and many others, The Lotus Band provides that “old school” feel mixed with the soulful sounds of contemporary artists. When we hit the stage, it’s like the Godfather of Soul said,“I only got a seventh-grade education, but I have a doctorate in funk, and I like to put that to good use!
