OVERVIEW
Grab a lantern and stroll along the luminary-lined path, from the Visitor Center to the Great Temple Mound. Join interpretive talks at the bridge, Earth Lodge, Trading Post, and Great Temple Mound sites. Step back in time to learn about the Indigenous people who once lived here and meet characters with ties to Ocmulgee’s rich 12,000 year history. See Downtown Macon illuminated at night from the top of the Great Temple Mound. These tours will last approximately 1 hour and take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. The paths are uneven in places, so we suggest good walking shoes. Gates open at 7pm and tours run every 10 minutes. Tickets $6
