It’s Cherry Blossom Festival time in the city! Real IMPACT Center, Inc could not think of a better way to kick off the 37th year of this festival than by collaborating to host the 4th Annual Girls will be Women in STEAM Conference. This will target 3rd through 8th grade girls and will be located at Central GA Tech’s Titans Arena on Anthony Road in Macon. You don’t want to miss the Ex-STREAM baker and entrepreneur as the keynote speaker, 13-year old Chef Simone Bridges, owner of Goddess Food Factory from Jacksonville, FL. She’s made a guest appearance on The Steve Harvey Show “Steve” and is also a part of LeBron James’ Always Believe campaign.

Over 200 girls will have STEAMtastic fun engaging in science, technology, engineering, agriculture and math hands-on activities while parents enjoy more of the festival. This is an all-day event, happening from 9:00am until 3:00pm! Doors open at 8:00am for a chance to meet and greet with Chef Simone! All girls will attend three hands-on workshops during this one-day conference. This year we are bringing our “A” game as we explore activities focused on Agriculture and Arts! Girls will learn coding, plant science, solar energy, game design, chemistry, bio-medical engineering, construction, robotics, and so much more.

Yep! It’s going to be a long but exciting and fun-filled day! No worries parents, lunch and a snack will be provided and this is a drop-off event.
