The Cherry Blossom Festival proudly salutes our veterans! Join us for Macon-Bibb County’s Veterans Day Celebration featuring the Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Macon on Sunday, November 6th, at 3pm. Enjoy patriotic themed floats, military units, marching bands and all of the fun! We’ll be honoring our hometown heroes and featuring military campaign-themed floats dating back to the Korean War. This free event is proudly brought to you by the Cherry Blossom Festival and Cox Communications and supported by The Miner Agency with community partners Visit Macon, Macon-Bibb County, Cumulus Macon and 41NBC.
Join us for Macon-Bibb County’s Veterans Day Celebration at Historic Luther Williams Field on Sunday, November 6th. This free event begins at 4pm featuring a kid’s zone, food trucks and fun for the whole family. Nationally known rock band 38 Special takes the stage at 5pm.
Lawn Chairs are permitted at the Veterans Day Celebration. No outside food or drink allowed. Food trucks include: The Gym Cantina, Jerk Brothers, Kelvin’s BBQ and Shiver Shack Shaved Ice.
