Due to the weather forecast for Friday and Saturday, the Cherry Blossom Festival is announcing updates to our events.
- Founders Day is being moved from Friday, March 22, to Thursday, March 21, at noon in Third Street Park. If there is a change to Friday at Third Street Park, we will share via social media, our app and with local media.
- Sunday’s hours at Food Truck Frenzy and Carolyn Crayton Park are being extended. For Sunday, March 24, Food Truck Frenzy will now be held from 10am-7pm in downtown Macon on Third and Cherry Streets instead of 10am-5pm. Carolyn Crayton Park will be open from 10am-9pm with the Festival Finale featuring fireworks, ERNEST, tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), vendors, rides, and more instead of 12pm-9pm.
- Hours for Carolyn Crayton Park (as of now) are Friday 12pm-10pm and Saturday 10am-10pm.
